Crystals Quest is a beautifully illustrated children’s book full of interesting information relating to crystals, gems, geography and geology. This book is such a pretty and subtle way of educating children within this subject.

The book’s design features shimmery gemstone-inspired pinks, greens, and purples, sure to delight young readers. It also has engaging illustrations and a playful typeface, with various words featured larger than others in a colorful font. The rock fact sheets are also visually appealing, with interesting tidbits. Many children love rocks, and this book provides a fun entrée into the topic. It also promotes the importance of listening to those around you and connecting with your community.

"We loved the book and especially the rock samples."

We loved the book and especially the rock samples. The samples really helped make the story and lessons tangible. The way the story blends emotional/developmental challenges/adventures that any child can relate to with the healing powers of the rocks and the geological facts of the rocks was so refreshing and appealing to my daughter. Even at 11, children learn best through story and adventure, not lists of facts and not scientific writing. The fact that she also has beagle made it all the more appealing.

Crystal’s Quest is a fun read from beginning to end. Crystal and her pet beagle, Noodle meet numerous animal characters on the many adventures they share. Each of their animal friends is in need of support, and Crystal uses her knowledge of gemstones to find the perfect stone to help them. This book offers children a practical way to discover how stones can be used to assist them when they are facing challenges. I will carry this book in my product line.

Absolutely loved this book. The best part about it was all the different characters had their different problems. Crystal helped each one overcome what was bothering them. Children now-a-days have an assortment of trials to handle. It’s a great help for kids. I also ordered the journal/coloring book that has the same characters. Crystal loved to keep a journal. I hope the kids do too. I give it 5 stars.
